Caddie Program & Evans Scholars Program
Ruth Lake Country Club has a storied caddie program dating back to its inception in 1922. Ruth Lake's caddies pride themselves in being knowledgeable in the game, respectful and courteous at all times, and dedicated to serving our membership and their guests. Our membership and staff strongly support the tradition of walking with caddies, helping invest in our area youth, and exposing them to real-life work experience. During peak season, we will have over 100 local young ladies and gentlemen on property to assist golfers during their rounds.
The Western Golf Association has partnered with Ruth Lake Country Club in hopes of granting deserving young ladies and gentlemen scholarship opportunities. For further details on the Chick Evans Scholarship, please visit the WGA website wgaesf.org. Ruth Lake has had over 50 caddies earn the prestigious Evans Scholarship, with hopefully many more to come.
If interested in additional information concerning the Ruth Lake Caddie Program, please contact Tim at any time.
